DOC area for white wine in the Italian region of Sardinia. It covers about 1,800 hectares of vineyards. The zone includes around 200 municipalities in the three provinces of Cagliari, Nuoro and Oristano. The DOC designation may be preceded by "Sardegna". The wine must be made from at least 85% of the Nuragus variety, the rest can be other authorised varieties. There is also a frizzante.
