The "Domaine Nussbaumer" in the municipality of Aesch in the Swiss canton Basel country is directed by Kurt Nussbaumer. The own vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards, another five hectares are leased. They are located in the communities of Aesch, Arlesheim and Flüh. There the white varieties Chardonnay, Chasselas, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Räuschling and Riesling x Sylvaner (Müller-Thurgau), as well as the red varieties Blauburgunder and Garanoir are cultivated. From the red varieties, the "Cuvée Nussi" and a straw wine are pressed. The own production amounts to annually 70.000 bottles of wine, another 100,000 are produced in wage labor for other winemakers of the region. Individual wines are treated with reverse osmosis (see osmosis ), which is stated on the label.
