Obeïdi

The white grape variety originates from Lebanon. Synonyms are Obaideh, Obedi and Oubeïdi. The parentage (parentage) is unknown. There is a suggestion that it is a local clone of the Chardonnay variety. The variety is used for the production of table grapes, arrack and white wine. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
