oenocyanin

Blue-red dye (also Oenin), which is won from press residues of dark-skinned grapes. The substance present in the grape skins consists of anthocyanins others phenols and pigments. It is used as food coloring but is banned within the EU as an addition to wines. In contrast, the use of so-called oenological tannins within the EU without restriction.
