Oliver Jeremy

The Australian Oliver Jeremy (1961) became the world's youngest professional wine author in 1984 with "Thirst For Knowledge". Two years later followed the updated version "More Thirst For Knowledge". He is one of the few international wine authors with a formal university education in oenology. He commented that "one must know how wine is made in order to write critically about it". So far he has written about 20 wine books and has written numerous publications in many countries. The book "Enjoying Wine With Jeremy", published in 2009, has also been published in China. His annual wine guide "The Australian Wine Annual" was first published in 1997, in which he describes and rates the best Australian wines as a wine critic. Jeremy appears regularly on the "Sky News Business Channel" and has an intense presence on numerous other TV and radio shows. He is also a presenter of many wine events, for example the O'Shea Award. He is a board member of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival's, an annual event for wine and food culture. Jeremy Oliver runs his own wine website.

Sigi Hiss

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
