Osey

Fortified wine (also Oseye or Osaye) from Portugal, which was popular in England in the 14th and 15th century. The name is an English corruption of the place Azóia northwest of Lisbon, where the wine probably came from. It can perhaps be described as the forerunner of port wine, which only became popular much later.
