The winery is located in the municipality of Feuersbrunn, in the Wagram region of Lower Austria. It has been family-owned since 1889 and has been run by Bernhard Ott, the fourth generation of the family, since 1995. The vineyards cover 16 hectares in the Am Berg and Rosenberg vineyards. They are 85% planted with Grüner Veltliner. Bernhard Ott has concentrated primarily on this classic Austrian grape variety, from which up to five different wine styles are vinified. Premium wines are Grüner Veltliner Der Ott, Grüner Veltliner Rosenberg Reserve and Grüner Veltliner Am Berg. Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Apricot distillates are also produced. The winery is a member of Traditionsweingüter Österreich.
