Pampanaro

The white grape variety comes from Italy. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. It must not be confused with the Bellone (Pampanaro) variety, despite the fact that synonyms seem to indicate it. The late ripening vine is cultivated in small quantities in the regions of Puglia (Bari and Barletta-Andria-Trani) and Lazio (Frosinone). In 2016, one hectare of vineyard area has been identified with a decreasing tendency (statistics Kym Anderson).
