Pares

single vineyard in the municipality of Ingelheim on the Mainzer Berg in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The name is probably derived from the regional name for paradise and refers to its special nature. It was already known in the High Middle Ages. The southwest to west-facing vineyards at 130 to 185 metres above sea level with a slope of 5 to 10% cover nine hectares of vineyards and extend towards Nieder-Ingelheim. The soils consist of loess and sandy loam with a high stone content. Here, mainly Pinot Noir is cultivated. The Arndt F. Werner, J. Neus and Julius Wasem - Rodensteiner Hof wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
