The Greek winery "A.S. Parparoussis" is located in Patra on the Greek island of Peloponnese. It was founded in 1973 by Athanassios Parparoussis and his wife Vasso. The founder had previously completed oenological training in the French Burgundy. His two daughters Erifili (vineyard management) and Dímitra (marketing) are already firmly established in the business. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines and grapes are also purchased from contract winegrowers. Premium wines include the two POP red wines Nemea (Agiorgitiko) and Patras (Roditis), the POP dessert wines "Muscat of Rio Patras" and the "Mavrodafne of Patras", aged for 24 months in new French barriques and eight months in the bottle, as well as the Topikos Oinos (country wines) "Achaikos" in red and white. Furthermore the seven years in French barriques matured brandy "Apostagma Oenou Palaiothen" is produced.
