The red wine from the Croatian peninsula of the same name is mainly made from the Plavac Mali grape variety, with a proportion of other varieties. The dark red, delicately fruity wine with delicate acidity is produced in dry, semi-dry and medium sweet versions. It has an alcohol content of up to 12.5% vol. and can be stored for several years.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
