DOC area for red wines and white wines in the Italian region of Campania. The zone includes the municipalities of Agerola, Casola di Napoli, Gragnano, Lettere, Massa Lubrense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Pimonte, Sant'Agnello, Sorrento and Vico Equense, as well as parts of Castellammare di Stabia and Sant'Antonio Abate on the Sorrento peninsula in the province of Napoli. There are the subzones Gragnano (Castellammare di Stabia, Gragnano, Pimonte), Lettere (Casola di Napoli, Lettere Sant'Antonio Abate) and Sorrento (Massa Lubrense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello, Sorrento, Vico Equense), which may be mentioned on the label. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna may be indicated followed by the vineyard name.

The Bianco is blended from Falanghina (40%) and/or Biancolella and/or Greco (all three together 60%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 40%). The Rosso (also as Frizzante) is produced from Per'e Palummo = Piedirosso (to. 40%) and/or Olivella = Sciascinoso and/or Aglianico (all together to. 60%), as well as other permitted varieties (max. 40%). When using the subzone Gragano and Lettere there is only a Rosso Frizzante, when using the subzone Sorrento there are only the wine types Bianco and Rosso.
