The winery "Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas" is located in the municipality of Pedrosa de Duero in the DO area Ribera del Duero in the Spanish region Castilla y León. It was founded in 1980 by the three brothers (Hermanos) Adolfo, Benjamín and Manuel Pérez Pascuas. Benjamín's oldest son José Manuel is the oenologist in charge. The vineyards cover 135 hectares of vineyards on calcareous-clay soils at 800 metres above sea level. They are 90% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are preferably aged in American barriques for 14 to 28 months. They are produced under the brand names "Cepa Gavilán", "Finca la Navilla" and "Viña Pedrosa" in mostly Crianza quality. The flagship of the house is the "Viña Pedrosa Gran Selección Gran Reserva" from the seven-hectare site of Pago Valtarrena with vines over 50 years old. Around half a million bottles of wine are produced annually.
