The white grape variety is a new breed between Queen of the vineyards x Sultanina ( Sultana ). Synonyms are California 1253 F 21, Perlet, Perleta, Perletta and Szertendrei Magvatlon. The crossing took place at the Agricultural Experiment Station in 1936 University of California by the breeder Harold P. Olmo (1909-2006). The variety was a crossing partner for the new varieties Aron. Augusta (3) Dawn Seedless. Evita Blanche. Exalta and Helios (2). The versatile vine is called destem- and table grape, as well as for raisins used. It is grown worldwide on all continents in numerous countries, including in Germany and Austria, In 2010, however, was only one hectare for Peru reported (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
