Perlona

The white grape variety is a new breed between Bicane x Muscat d'Hamburg according to published in 2009 DNA analysis (the previous paternity of Muscat Madresfield Court turned out to be wrong). Synonyms are IP 54, Muscat Perlona and Pirovano 54. The crossing took place in 1911 at the research center in Rome by the breeder Alberto Pirovano (1884-1973). The variety is called table grape used. With the same parents is the new breed Italia emerged.
