single vineyard in the municipality of Gau-Bischofsheim (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The southeast to south-facing vineyard with a slope of 3 to 15% covers seven hectares of vines. The soil consists of hanging loam and loess, as well as sandy to clayey loam to clay. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Pinot Noir and Black Riesling. The Dietz, Escher Anton and Oberst Schultz-Werner wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
