The estate is located in the commune of Graach-Schäferei in the German wine-growing region Moselle
, The family has been involved in viticulture since the 17th century, the winery itself has existed since 1968. Patrick Philipps took over the management with his wife Michaela in 1998 as a career changer. The company was subsequently redesigned with large investments based on the latest knowledge of cellar management. A guest house is connected. The vineyards cover 3.5 hectares of vineyards in the top Graacher locations Domprobst
, as well as Bernkasteler Johannisbrünnchen (the shares in the Zeltinger layers Himmelreich and Sundial have been given up). They are 100% planted with Riesling. Around a third of the wines are aged in dry, semi-dry and lovely 100% in stainless steel tanks. Around 50,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Sparkling wines and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
