Pichler-Krutzler

The winery is located in the municipality Durnstein Oberloiben in the Lower Austrian wine region Wachau, It was founded in 2006 by Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler and Erich Krutzler. Erich Krutzler comes from Deutsch-Schützen in southern Burgenland, where a Blaufränkisch from Riede begins vineyard was produced. Production in the Wachau began in the 2008 vintage. The vineyard area totals six hectares of vineyards in the vineyards of Frauengergarten, Supperin and Kellerberg in the Subriede Wunderburg (Dürnstein), as well as monastery set and Loibenberg (Loiben). One third each is own space, lease and four grape suppliers who have to coordinate their work in the vineyard. It will be the white varieties Green Valtellina.
