The "Pine Ridge Winery" in Silverado Trail in the AVA area of Stags Leap District in California's Napa Valley was founded in 1978 by the Andrus family. They also own the Archery Summit Winery in the US state of Oregon. Today, Pine Ridge is in shared ownership and is run by co-owner Gary Andrus. The property covers 120 hectares in five AVA areas: Howell Mountain, Los Carneros, Rutherford, Oakville and Stags Leap District. The best wines are Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from the Stags Leap District, Cabernet Sauvignon and the Bordeaux-style Andrus Reserve (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cot) from the Rutherford area, and the Merlot from the Los Carneros area.
