Pinot Tete de Negre

The red grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Pinot Moure, Pinot Mouret and Pinot Noir Luisant. It is a somatic mutation with sharp berries of the Pinot Noir variety. The DNA profile is identical, but there are small morphological differences. The berries contain more anthocyanins, which is why they turn completely black when fully ripe. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
