Piperatum

Designation (Eng. "Gepfefferter", also Vina Piperata) for an im antique Rome of wine, honey and of pepper dominated spices produced spiced wine which was heated or mixed with hot water. The Conditum (Conditum Paradoxum) was a slightly more sophisticated version with pepper, mastic (resin of the evergreen mastic pistil plant), laurel leaves, saffron, roasted date seeds and dates.
