Piperln

In Austria, a common term (also Bibberln) for drinking in the sense of regular alcohol consumption, for example "he likes to piperlt". It is derived from the Latin "bibere" (to drink). Two terms with the same meaning are "Dudeln" and "Safteln". See the various expressions under intoxication.
