Pliniana

The red grape variety is a new breed between Riesling Italico ( Riesling x Pinot Noir, The crossing took place in 1989 at the University of Piacenza ( Lombardy - Italy ) by Mario Fregoni. The early to middle-seasoning vine is also suitable for sparkling wines. In 2010, no stock was reported (Kym Anderson ).
