Pollerhof

The estate is located in the community Röschitz Retz in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Weinviertel, It has been run by Erwin Poller since 1992. He collected extensive oenological experience on study trips to Germany, Italy, France and the USA. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Galgenberg, mountains, kingdom of heaven, Königsberg, Marktweg and Phelling. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Gelber Muskateller, jubilee vine, Müller-Thurgau, Frühroter Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc, and the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Gamay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The quality criteria include rigorous thin out for yield restriction, healthy grape material and selective hand picking. For example, the premium wines include Weinviertel DAC Phelling (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Königsberg, Zweigelt aged for 18 months in barrique and the red wine cuvee "Church hill " (Gamay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon).
