The winery is located in the municipality of Röschitz near Retz in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. It has been managed by Erwin Poller since 1992. He gained extensive oenological experience on study trips to Germany, Italy, France and the USA. The vineyards cover 15 hectares in the Galgenberg, Gebirg, Himmelreich, Königsberg, Marktweg and Phelling vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Gelber Muskateller, Jubiläumsrebe, Müller-Thurgau, Frühroter Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Gamay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The quality criteria include rigorous thinning out to limit yields, healthy grape material and selective hand harvesting. The premium wines include, for example, Weinviertel DAC Phelling (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Königsberg, Zweigelt matured for 18 months in barriques and the red wine cuvée "Churchhill" (Gamay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon). The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Weingüter Retzer Land.
