The French sommelier
Olivier Poussier (1964) attended the hotel management school Tecomah in Jouy-en-Josas, afterwards he worked in the famous restaurant "Tour d'Argent" (Paris) and in the five-star hotel "Connaught" (London). He is the head sommelier of the well-known “Lenôtre”, which operates several restaurants, among others. From the 2005 vintage, he assumed responsibility for the wine guide
"Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France" (until then these were Michel Bettane
and Thierry Desseauve
). Poussier was named France's best sommelier in 1990 and world sommelier in 2000.
