Preisinger Claus

The winery is located in the municipality Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vineyards, which are scattered on 44 plots on the Wagram and on the plateau of the Parndorf plate from Weiden am See on Gols to Mönchhof. They are planted to 90% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch , Pinot Noir, Merlot and St. Laurent, and planted to 10% with the white varieties Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. The young winemaker Claus Preisinger gained practical experience in South Tyrol, California and as a laboratory assistant at the College of Agricultural Sciences in Wien .
