1) The white grape is one open blown Descendant of the variety Herbert (Carter x Trollinger). They are genes of Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera contain. The hybrid was made in the USA in 1900 by the botanist Thomas Volney Munson (1843-1913) selected. The variety is in the USA and Canada (Ontario), where it is mainly used for sparkling wines. In 2010, no stock was reported (Kym Anderson ).
