The white grape (also Geisenheim 341-58, Precocisima) is a new breed between ( Sylvaner x Riesling ) x (Riesling x Silvaner). The crossing took place in 1952 by Dr. med. Helmut Becker (1927-1990) in the research institute Geisenheim (Rheingau). The variety protection was granted in 1997. The hardy Vine is prone to real mildew but resistant to Botrytis, It provides the Silvaner similar wines, which are well suited as sparkling wines. No stocks were reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
