Primus (wine)

In Austria used by wine law (Latin primus = the first) for country wines and quality wines. In addition to "Primus", the terms "Primaner", "First", "Der Erste", "Der Junge", "Der junge ...", "Der Neue" and "... Junker" may also be used. The so-called wines must be placed on the market no later than 30th April (31st March 2017) of the year following the harvest. See also below young wine and Junker,
