The Prunotto SRL winery is located in the municipality of San Cassiano (Alba) in the Italian region Piedmont, The origin is in 1923, when Alfredo Prunotto took over the "Vini delle Langhe" cooperative founded in 1904. There were no vineyards of their own, but the best grapes from the Albese, Langhe and Monferrato areas were bought and processed. This philosophy was maintained for a long time, only in 1990 the first seven hectares were acquired. In 1956 Afredo Prunotto sold the property to his friend Beppe Colla. Finally, in 1989 the empire took over Antinori, The vineyards now cover 44 hectares in the best locations in the following areas. The premium wines include the Barbaresco "Bric Turot" that Barbera d'Asti "Costamiòle" and "Fiulòt", "the Barolo "Bussia", the Dolcetto d'Alba "Mosesco", the Monferrato "Mompertone" (60% Barbera and 40% Syrah), as well as the Roero Arneis, Around 800,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
