Pulës

The white grape variety comes from Albania. Synonyms are Pules, Pules I Bylyshit, Pulez, Pulezi and Puls. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. Furthermore, according to DNA analyses carried out in 2005, there are two genetically different varieties with this name. The vine is still traditionally grown on trees and used for raki (liquor) and wine. It is cultivated in the central south in the Berati area. In 2016, however, no stock was identified (Kym Anderson).
