The white grape variety comes from Albania, Synonyms are Pules, Pules I Bylyshit, Pulez, Pulezi and Puls. The parentage is unknown. There are also those made in 2005 DNA analysis two genetically different strains with this name. The vine is still traditionally grown on trees and for the production of Raki (Schnapps) and wine used. It is grown in the Central South in the Berati area. No inventory was shown in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
