Quebranta

The red grape variety (also Quebranta Peruana) comes from Peru, According to in 2006 DNA analysis is probably a natural cross between Mission ( Listán Prieto ) x Negra Mole ( Negramoll ). It is mainly used as basic wine for the production of brandy or the Peruvian national drink Pisco used. The variety is also used as a wine grape for simple red and rose wines and as table grape used.
