Vitis labrusca. Vitis riparia. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The intersection of hybrid was made by the American breeder Elmer Swenson (1913-2004) near Osceola, Wisconsin. The variety is in Canada (Quebec), as well as in several US states in the Midwest cultivated.
