Rainer chuckles

The winery is located in the municipality Poysdorf in the northeast of the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel, It is a classic family business in which Josef and Gertrude Schuckert share their work with their son Rainer. The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vineyards, which are spread over 30 plots in the Hermann haggling, Loam fields, nest cups, sour proboscis, Steinberg, Stöckel wine gardens and Weißer Berg are divided. They are planted 80% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Welschriesling and Pinot Blanc, and 20% with the red varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Blauburgunder, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blauer Portugieser, Blauburger and Merlot. It will consistently follow natural viticulture ecological Aspects practiced. A special passion of the family is the Grüner Veltliner, which among other things as Weinviertel DAC, Straw wine and ice wine, as well as in barriques. An important branch of production are bottle-fermented, hand-shaken sect. A sparkling wine series as well as the "Koststüberl" are named "Antonio" after a famous ancestor, the oenotechnician, writer and wine merchant Antonio Dal Piaz Menotti (1847-1915) from Mistelbach. A wide range of fine brandies are also produced. Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
