The white grape variety (also Refosc Blanc) originates from Italy and belongs to the Refosco name group. It is possibly a colour mutation of the variety Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. It must not be confused with the variety Ribolla Gialla (with synonym Refosco Bianco). The late-ripening vine yields simple white wines that are used as the basis for spumante. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
