Reinartz Michael

The Austrian journalist Michael Reinartz (* 1939) is the founder and long-time editor of the German-language editions of the restaurant guide Gault Millau, This was Austria from 1978, Switzerland from 1982 and Germany from 1983. In 1985 Reinartz retired to the Gault-Millau Austria, which he brought out until 2005. For his work he received the in 1998 Stonefeather Price for wine journalism and in 2000 the gold medal for services to the state of Lower Austria.
