The winery is located in the municipality of Obermixnitz-Weitersfeld in the wine-growing region of Weinviertel in Lower Austria. In addition to viticulture, cereals and edible potatoes are also cultivated with organic farming already since 1995. Today, the farm is run by Ernst and Eleonora Reinthaler, who are supported by son Stefan after his training in Klosterneuburg and internship in Australia. The vineyards are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Welschriesling, Muskateller and Chardonnay, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger and Blauer Portugieser. Viticulture was converted to organic farming in 2006. The premium wines include Weinviertel DAC Selektion Manhartsberg (Grüner Veltliner) and Chardonnay Selektion Manhartsberg. In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also produced. Veltliner brandy, red wine liqueur, grape juice and apple juice are also produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Winzervereinigung Manhartsberger Winzer.
