The estate is located in the municipality Lamberg-Wies in the Austrian wine-growing region West Styria, The manor house, situated on a hill overlooking the Koralpe, dates back to the 17th century. It is run by Christian Reiterer, who after visiting the wine-growing school Silberberg, a practice in Italy and training at the University of Montpellier produced his first wine in 1991.
