There are two grape varieties with this name (Reliance), both bred in the USA:
The white grape variety is an interspecific new breeding between Ontario x Suffolk Red. Synonyms are Arkansas 1163 and Reliance Seedless. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Arkansas in 1964, and approval was granted in 1983. The seedless variety is well suited for cooler regions. It is used as a winepress and table grape. The reddish berries have a foxtone. The variety is grown on 3.5 hectares in the US states of Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota and Wisconsin. In Canada, there is a small stand of 0.5 hectares in the province of Nova Scotia. In 2016, a total of four hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
The white grape variety with reddish berries is an interspecific new breeding between Delaware x Iona. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca, Vitis aestivalis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1881 by the breeder J. G. Burrows. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
