Renner Helmuth

The winery is located in the wine-growing community Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). The family business was taken over by Birgit and Helmuth Renner in 1988 and built into a modern winegrowing business. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Altenberg, Heathland, Salzberg, Schafleiten and Setzlust. They are 85% with the red wines Zweigelt. Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir ( Pinot Noir ) St. Laurent. Merlot and Syrah, as well as 15% with the white varieties Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) Chardonnay and Riesling planted. The premium wines include the red wine Cuvées Altenberg ( Blaufränkisch , Merlot, Zweigelt, 22 months in new barrels) and Pannobile red (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch , Syrah, 18 months), and "Alter Weingarten" (St. Laurent, 14 months), Blauburgunder (16 months), Zweigelt Altenberg from over 40-year-old vines and the white wine blend Pannobile white (Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, 15 months). In weather suitable years are also sweet predicate wines such Trockenbeerenauslese and Eiswein vinified. A red Pannobile of the winery was in 2013 in the newly created bottle oversize Narcis filled with 7.5 liters (10 standard bottles). Every year around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced.
