Renner Helmuth

The winery is located in the wine-growing community Gols in the Burgenland wine region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). The family business was taken over by Birgit and Helmuth Renner in 1988 and developed into a modern wine-growing business. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Altenberg Heath ground Salzberg, Schafleiten and Setzlust. They are 85% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt. Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir ( Pinot Noir ) St. Laurent. Merlot and Syrah, as well as 15% with the white varieties Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) Chardonnay and Riesling planted. The premium wines include the red wine cuvées Altenberg ( Blaufränkisch , Merlot, Zweigelt, 22 months in new barriques) and Pannobile red (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch , Syrah, 18 months), and “Alter Weingarten” (St. Laurent, 14 months), Blauburgunder (16 months), Zweigelt Altenberg from vines over 40 years old and the white wine cuvée Pannobile white (Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, 15 months). In years that are suitable for the weather, sweet predicate wines such as Trockenbeerenauslese and Eiswein vinified. A red pannobile of the winery was in 2013 in the newly created oversize bottle Narcis filled with 7.5 liters (10 normal bottles). Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
