Rességuier Eureylan

The private breeder Euryale Rességuier from the south of France was active as a breeder of rootstock vines. One of his products was Berlandieri Rességuier No. 2, selected from Vitis berlandieri, which played a role in the famous Kober 5 BB rootstock created by the Hungarian vineyard owner Sigmund Teleki (1854-1910), but was of no practical significance. Rességuier also dealt with Vitis riparia rootstocks.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
