Every year, the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture produce one award the best wines and sect from the six regions of Rhineland-Palatinate, which are presented in the vaulted hall of the Electoral Palace in Mainz.
