Ribier Noir

The red grape variety comes from France, Synonyms are Petit Ribier, Petit Rouvier, Reviere d'Anjou, Ribiere, Rivier and Riviere. It must not be with the variety Alphonse Lavallée (with the synonym Ribier). According to the French ampelographer Jean-Michel Boursiquot (* 1958) is a descendant of Gouais Blanc, It is used as a wine press table grape used. The variety used to be that Rhone quite common.
