Ribier Noir

The red variety comes from France, Synonyms are Petit Ribier, Petit Rouvier, Anjou, Ribiere, Rivier and Riviere. She is not allowed with the variety Alphonse Lavallée (with synonym Ribier) to be confused. According to the French Ampelographen Jean-Michel Boursiquot (* 1958) is a descendant of Gouais blanc, It is called Kelter- and table grape used. The variety was formerly at the Rhone quite common. Today she is there in the département Ardèche to find only three hectares.
