Richmond Grove

The winery is located in Tanunda in the Barossa Valley (South Australia) and is on the site of the Chateau Leonay Winery founded by Leo Buring at the end of the 19th century. It is owned by the Orlando company, which in turn was bought by the French multinational Pernod Ricard in 1989. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines. Cellar master for decades was the winemaker John Vickery, who was already legendary during his lifetime and became famous with the Riesling created in the 1960s under the label Leo Buring. Now the wines are produced under the label "Richmond Grove".
