Riske Reinhold

The estate is located in the municipality of Dernau in the German wine-growing region Ahr, It was founded in 1957 by Reinhold Riske. Since 1996 it has been run by his son Bernd Riske and his wife Michaela Riske-Bach. The vineyards cover 2.6 hectares of vineyards in the locations Goldkaul. Hardtberg Monastery mountain Pfarrwingert and Schieferlay (Dernau) Charles head (Bachem), Rosenberg (Marienthal), and Schieferlay and Sonnenberg (Bad Neuenahr). They are planted with the varieties Pinot Noir (70%), Dornfelder (15%), Pinot Noir (5%), Blauer Portugieser (5%) and Riesling (5%). Due to the aging in new and old oak barrels, the wines get different flavors. An ice wine is also pressed in suitable years. Grape juices, brandies (yeast, wine) and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
