The estate is located in the municipality of Kaltern (Caldaro) in the Italian wine sector South-Tirol (Region Trentino-Alto Adige ). It was founded in 1968 and has been owned by the Roner family from Tramin since 1999. The administrator is Ludwig Kaneppele, responsible cellar master Hannes Bernhard. Above the cellar buildings is the Ritterhof restaurant, where you can enjoy the wines of the winery as well as a large selection of other South Tyrolean wines of classic South Tyrolean dishes.

In addition to its own 7.5 hectares of vineyards, the grapes are processed by long-term contract winemakers who cultivate a further 35 hectares.
