The winery is located in the small community of Kiblitz (large municipality of Ziersdorf) in the south-west of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. It is run by Leopold and Martha Rittler. The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vines in, for example, the Rössel and Vom Berg vineyards on mainly loess and light clay soils. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (about one third), Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Rivaner and Gelber Muskateller, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser and Merlot. The most important quality criteria are short pruning, controlled integrated soil cultivation and targeted thinning. Above all, fruity, dry white wines and mild red wines are produced. Premium wines include Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner), Pinot Blanc and the red wine cuvée "Ither". Frizzante and noble brandies (grape, fruit, berries) are also produced.
