Independent community area in the department Vaucluse in the southern French appellation Cotes du Rhone-Villages (see the AOC regulations there). The municipality has been allowed to use the name on the label lead. In the 12th century, the Templar order established a base here and promoted viticulture. The vineyards cover around 100 hectares of vineyards on red, gravelly clay. They border Rasteau and Séguret, The vast majority are red wines, and to a small extent rose and white wines. Well-known producers are Florimond Lambert and CV de Roaix-Séguret.
