The red variety is an interspecific new breed between Seibel 29 ( Munson x unknown Vinifera) x Danugue ( Valencí Tinto ). Synonyms are Bertille Seyve 4643, Seibel 4643, Feketek Kiralya, Le Sequanais and Pannonhalmi Kek. They are genes of Vitis lincecumii. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The intersection of hybrid took place at the beginning of the 20th century by the breeder Albert Seibel (1844-1936).
