The Grand Cru site is located in the commune of Vosne-Romanée in the Côte d'Or area. To the west, the Grand Cru vineyard Romanée-Conti is located at the highest point. The vineyards cover 9.5 hectares of vines at 250 metres above sea level on limestone-strewn soil. The red wine is made from Pinot Noir with portions of Pinot Liébault and Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris) and can be stored for decades. Well-known producers are Arnoux, Bichot (Domaine du Clos Frantin), Cathiard, Confuron, Joseph Drouhin, Hudelot-Noellat, Louis Latour, Domaine Leroy, Moillard and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
